This is a spanish film...english title is "The Motorcylce Diaries", based on the autobiographical work of Ernesto (Che) Guevara de La Serna ,by the same name....also based on memories of Alberto Granado,his co-traveller.

The film is about the travel of Che and his friend through out the latin america to find the soul of the continent.....Both of them are having different tastes but shared the same spirit.....the opening dialogue itself says so...

"This isn't a tale of heroic feats. It's about two lives running parallel for a while, with common aspirations and similar dreams. "

"What we had in common - our restlessness, our impassioned spirits, and a love for the open road. "

The film is the exact narration of a long journey through which the two experience many faces of life, new destinations and their own fate......the film depicts how a revolutionary is born...! the tagline says,"Before he changed the world the world changed him "
and the film is fully factual with no masala mixes....showing the real life cross section...the film puts forward many life philosophies and the aspiration for a united Latin America.....so the film is having some historical importance too...then the frames in the film are very very excellent....wide range camera views experiencing the natural beauty...also each frame is too attractive and watchable....with nice musical blend..but in some instances of extreme emotions,the director omitted the BGM deliberately so that we experience the emotions deeply penetrating in to us with the silence.

Then the screen play is extremely well written with dialogues (mostly monologues) taken directly from the book....I am quoting some of the notable dialogues here which I felt touching.......

" What do we leave behind when we cross each frontier? Each moment seems split in two; melancholy for what was left behind and the excitement of entering a new land. "

"You gotta fight for every breath and tell death to go to hell. "

So I suggest this to be a very much watchable film.....you can rate the film according to your conscience and politics.
